Marani Orta
The family winery Orta was founded in 2016 in the village of Shalauri, Telavi Region.
The winery is owned by Tamar Khvedelidze and her husband.
Orta has its own vineyards, where Rkatsiteli, Kakheti Green, and Zhghia grape varieties are cultivated. These are rare endemic varieties, and only a few wineries produce wine from them.
Orta produces six types of wine:
