Tinatin Wine Caller
In 2018, Tinatin Jakhua, a computer technologist by profession, founded Tinatin Wine Cellar. The winery is located in the charming village of Badiauri in the Sagarejo district of Kakheti. This is where Tinatin’s vineyards are planted, growing Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane Kakhuri, and other unique Georgian grape varieties.
Tinatin’s love for winemaking dates back to childhood. Her family has always had its own vineyard and traditionally made wine for personal consumption. Her grandmother, as well as Tinatin herself—whose name is immortalized in the winery's name—played a special role in nurturing this passion.
Since 2016, Tinatin has been dedicated to studying wine technology, the art of viticulture and winemaking, and the refined principles of tasting.
"Tinatin" wines successfully participate in many exhibitions and festivals, both in Georgia and abroad. The winery’s products are already exported to the United States and the United Kingdom.
