19/11/2023

On November 18, 2023, members of the Women in Wine Industry Association (WIWI) participated in a targeted training session on “Regulations and Logistics Required by Law for Wine Labels.” The training was led by Lali Tsomaya, Head of the Supply and Logistics Department at Vaziani Company.

The session covered key legal and logistical requirements concerning wine labelling, with an emphasis on compliance, traceability, and export readiness.

In addition, Guranda Romanadze, legal counsel at Vaziani, presented the new WIWI charter and provided detailed insights into the Association’s governance structure and formation process. This segment offered valuable clarity and guidance for members actively shaping the organisation’s future.

The event was hosted by Château Dami and held with the support of the Private Sector Development and Vocational Education in the South Caucasus (PSD TVET SC) programme. The initiative is implemented in Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in collaboration with relevant national ministries.
