Safety & HACCP Standards: 3-Day Training for Association Members
10/08/2026A three-day intensive training course titled "Food Safety - HACCP for the HoReCa Sector" was successfully held for members of the "Women in the Wine Industry" Association at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Telavi.
The training was organized with the generous support of our partner organization, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The sessions were led by international expert and consultant Natela Khurtsidze (MAGNUM OPUS - Exclusive Partner of TÜV AUSTRIA).
Over the course of three days, participants gained in-depth knowledge of modern food safety standards and the 7 principles and 12 steps of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system.
The curriculum combined theoretical presentations with practical workshops and case studies:
Day 1: Focused on the concept of HACCP, flowcharts, hazard identification, and preparing specifications and technical sheets.
Day 2: Covered hazard analysis, risk assessment, establishing Critical Control Points (CCPs), and developing monitoring plans tailored to different enterprises.
Day 3: Dedicated to implementing HACCP systems, drafting working forms, and understanding verification and validation procedures.
This initiative aimed to enhance the qualifications of female entrepreneurs in the HoReCa sector, ensuring compliance with international standards and delivering safe, top-quality products and services to consumers.
The "Women in the Wine Industry" Association extends its heartfelt gratitude to GIZ for their ongoing partnership and support!
