Gurjaani Wine Festival - Wine Days 2023

On October 14, 2023, members of the Women in Wine Industry Association (WIWI) participated in Wine Days 2023, held in Gurjaani. At the festival, WIWI members proudly showcased their wines and introduced guests to the rich diversity and traditions of Georgian winemaking, as seen through the lens of women producers. 

Following the festival, the group visited the Khornabuji Fortress, exploring one of Georgia’s significant cultural and historical landmarks.

The day concluded with a warm reception at “Wine Dano,” the family winery of Nona Mchedlishvili, where members shared their experiences, tasted locally produced wines, and discussed current challenges and future prospects for Georgian women in wine.

This gathering served not only as a professional exchange but also as an opportunity to strengthen community ties and lay the groundwork for future collaboration within the Association.
